MacyePay started with a simple frustration: selling on installments in Rwanda usually meant trusting a handshake and a notebook , and when a customer eventually stopped paying, there was rarely anything a merchant could actually enforce, or even prove.
We believe credit should not depend on who you happen to know. It should rest on what you have already paid. Not more paperwork, but one system that turns a promise into something verifiable: who signed, what was agreed, what is paid, what comes next.
