Welcome to MacyePay. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. They're written to be clear, not to bury anything in legalese.

What MacyePay is

MacyePay is a payment-recovery platform for installment-based commerce. We help businesses create enforceable agreements, verify clients, and recover what they are owed. We are a tool for administering credit you extend, not a lender and not a substitute for legal advice.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately at support@macyepay.rw. One account per person or entity - no sharing access across organizations.

Acceptable use

Use MacyePay for legitimate commerce. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with our systems. Don't use MacyePay to create agreements you do not intend to honour, to misrepresent a client's identity, or to pursue recovery by unlawful means.

Your data

You own your business data. We process it to provide our services - agreements, scheduling, recovery - but it remains yours. Notarized agreements and their audit trail are retained as long as the law requires. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Notary verification

When you submit an agreement for notarization, you authorize a licensed notary to review the documents and identities of both parties. The notary acts independently; MacyePay records and preserves their verification and the resulting audit trail.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance happens, and sometimes things break. We'll communicate proactively when possible.

Subscription and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on what you choose. You can cancel anytime - your access continues until the end of your billing period. We don't do refunds for partial periods.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you'll retain access until your current billing cycle ends. After that, your account moves to the Starter tier. Active agreements remain enforceable regardless of your plan.

Limitation of liability

MacyePay provides agreement and recovery tooling, not credit or legal advice. We're not liable for lending decisions you make, nor for the outcome of any enforcement action. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as MacyePay evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect.
